WELCOME TO SERBIA, THE LAND OF BASKETBALL!

Serbia is known as the "Land of Basketball" because of its deep-rooted passion, rich history of success, and the sport's integral role in Serbian culture and identity. The country has a long tradition of producing top talent and a history of international success.

We have been organizing basketball camps in Serbia for 18 years, hosting players from 24 countries from all over the world.

TYPICAL CAMP DAY

We have 4 hours of daily training split into 2 sessions of 2 hours each. One training is in the morning and the other training is in the late afternoon.

After the morning session, time is reserved for players’ education with our coaches who talk to them about different topics.

We teach players about exercises that help their basketball development, as well as about leading a healthy lifestyle with good eating habits.

After lunch and obligatory rest, we go for our second training session, which is then followed by dinner.

Evenings are reserved for basketball competitions.

On the third day of camp in the afternoon, we take players for an excursion where they have the great opportunity of seeing the sites of the city of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Our players will have the chance to see Fort Kalemegdan and the basketball courts of the famous Serbian basketball clubs Partizan and Red Star. Also, you will be taken to the main pedestrian street Knez Mihailova , the National Theatre and The National Museum.

All in all, every minute of our camp is packed with interesting activities in between our fun-filled training sessions.

TRAINING VENUE

BV BASKETBALL ACADEMY CAMP is going to be held in Kovilovo Resort Sports Complex, Hotel President.

This outstanding sports complex is one of the best in the Balkan region.

Only 100 metres away from Hotel President, there is a big 2-court training facility that is used for training sessions and games. Besides these two basketball courts, a gym is also available to our players.

ACCOMMODATION

HOTEL PRESIDENT – 4*

Surrounded by 26-hectare park with well-kept lawns and flower beds, this pleasant manor enjoys an exclusive location just 12 km from downtown Belgrade. Hotel President 4* is part of the Kovilovo Sport Centre: a major training ground with modern facilities for basketball that is just 100 meters away from Hotel President.

The rooms and suites are equipped according to the highest standards. Each room has a Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, Air conditioning, a bathroom and a balcony. The stylish hotel restaurant with a sun terrace serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Hotel President features a sports hall with 2 basketball courts, a fitness centre, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. The BG Sport Centre Kovilovo features open sports courts with various surfaces, 2 floodlit football fields, an outdoor swimming pool with a snack bar and an attractive picnic area.
